About Tanagh Outdoor EducationTanagh OEC is administered by Co. Monaghan VEC and approved by The Department of Education and Science . Tanagh is also a member of Outdoor Education Ireland the national network of VEC outdoor education centres.Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre is a medium sized, professional outdoor education centre delivering high quality adventure activities and programmes on a day or residential basis whether you are from a school, university, youth organisation, corporate company or just visiting the area. Our story is one of hard work, determination and a strong desire to create the best outcomes for you and your group and exceed expectations. Founded in 1992 by County Monaghan Vocational Educational Committee Tanagh OEC is one of Ireland’s leading outdoor education centres. Our Irish and international client base spans every sector of visitor including education, youth, corporate, healthcare, charity, heritage and family & friends. Our visitor needs may vary but our principles remain constant. Our welcome & creative delivery of outdoor activities and programmes are what set us apart.  John….Assistant Manager/Senior Instructorhas been working at the Centre for 7 years. John worked in London for 13 years before returning home and as a First Aid Instructor likes to keep us all up to date with our First Aid through his many stories. Qualifications
 Andrew….Field Studies Instructor has been working at the Centre for 5 years. Our local historian and bug friendly Instructor. Andrew makes sure we stay kind to our environment in our daily practices & treat our wildlife neighbours with all due respect… Qualifications
 Eoin…Instructor is just entering into his second year at Tanagh OEC and brings paddling adventure to the Centre. He represents our fresh blood and energy from the wild west........Qualifications
 Grace…Instructor has been with the Centre for 3 years and keeps everyone smiling. Grace is working hard on developing her NGB awards across a range of fields. Watch this list grow.Qualifications
 Philip…Instructor…youth, adrenaline, fun and commitment best describe Philip a keen paddler snowboarder and 2nd Place World Champion Kick boxer in 2000. Philip will never grow old……..Qualifications
 Philomena… Clerical Officer has been on the Team for 3 years and likes to make sure that your booking procedure runs as smoothly as possible.
